Randox Testing Services are attending Safety & Health Expo 2019
RTS are delighted to announce we will be attending the Safety & Health Expo 2019. This year the event will take place at ExCel London, from 18th – 20th June.
The Safety & Health Expo is the UK’s largest health and safety event. Bringing together over 300 companies showcasing various solutions to cater for the health and safety requirements of various companies, it affords RTS the opportunity to be placed directly in front of over 13,000 health and safety professionals.
On the back of having a successful attendance at the 2018 event, we are pleased to be attending in 2019. With employee well-being a core focus for any health & safety professional, we are confident the drug & alcohol testing programmes we create for a wide range of companies will meet any requirements.
According to Alcohol Change UK, 24% of adults in England and Scotland regularly drink over the Chief Medical Officer’s low-risk guidelines, and 27% of drinkers in UK binge drink on their heaviest drinking days (over 8 units for men and over 6 units for women). The issue of drug and alcohol consumption can have a negative impact on workplace environments. With the potential impacts of workplace accidents, absenteeism and reduced work rate, illicit substances can be detrimental to a business.
