Safety & Health Expo 2018 – Round Up
Just like that the Safety & Health Expo 2018 came and went. The three day event held at the Excel London allowed RTS to showcase its products and services to a wide and diverse range of health and safety professionals.
The Safety & Health Expo is the UK’s largest health and safety event and conference. With over 300 companies showcasing 5,000 various solutions to meet the health and safety needs of workplaces, it placed us directly in front of over 13,000 health and safety professionals.
Prior to the event, as part of the offering for attending, companies are provided the opportunity to organise meetings with visitors and other companies through an online booking system at the event in designated meeting lounges. This proved to be an extremely beneficial feature, as we received a large uptake of meeting requests with companies keen to find out more about workplace drug & alcohol testing and how it can have an impact on their business.
In order to maximise attendance at this event, our custom built stand was designed with the view to attract visitors to the stand with engaging branding and use of technology. By building an interactive web app to allow delegates to come on to the stand and use the app via touchscreen, they were able to find out more about our products and services, download various resources such as brochures and posters straight to their inbox and also leave an enquiry for a member of our team to follow up.
By utilising this technology, we noticed a large presence at our stand and had a steady flow of visitors throughout the event. We were also impressed with the number of companies actively seeking to implement workplace drug and alcohol testing. From speaking with delegates from various industries, it is clear there is a need for testing, especially in safety-critical industries and roles. We were happy to provide our thoughts on how workplace testing can be implemented and the benefits of having Randox Testing Services as their chosen workplace testing provider.
